Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's novel, A Dream For Peace, is based on the accounts of his life and efforts to promote peace.The book begins with his early life and informs us of his origins before telling us about his medical school experience in France and how he eventually changed directions to become a peace activist.

Dr. Ghoulem Berrah joined the Algerian Revolution after co-founding the Association of North African Muslim Students, and he went on to accomplish many more objectives and climb the success ladder. We learn that on his journey towards peace, he continues to learn and research different avenues, which he uses later on when he proceeds to China and America to study further and lecture. Although his knowledge was vast, it was just not enough for Berrah, as his thirst for knowledge could not be quenched. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah began furthering his education at an Indiana university, where he spent a relatively large amount of time studying microbiology. He received his Ph.D. in microbiology in 1963 and then joined the Foreign Ministry of Cote d'Ivoire as an adviser to President Félix Houphout-Boigny. Following the death of the president, he became an ambassador and went on to play important roles in bringing the two nations together.

Throughout the novel, some illustrations allow the reader to have an in-depth view of the scenes written in the book. Although the book was rather lengthy and reached more than 500 pages, I thought it was time well spent. The book was well written and professionally edited, and I, therefore, rate this book 4 out of 4 due to the excellent content that it contains.

I believe that many people will find inspiration in the story of Dr. Goulem Berrah'sachievements because it demonstrates that success will come to you if you work for it and seek it fully, regardless of your circumstances or age.

The story of Dr. Goulem Berrah's life and success is an inspiration to many and goes to show that no matter what the circumstances may be or how old you may be, success will find its way to you if you push toward it and pursue it wholeheartedly.

The book is best suited for those who take their time when reading and appreciate historical fiction.
The book is a biography, but it's an exciting one, and it'll have your thoughts running about all the possibilities there are in life.
