Surviving the Business of Healthcare: Knowledge is Power is written by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C. Firstly, the book's author, Ms. Barbara Galutia Regis, shares her personal experiences with anticancer therapy and conditions that may lead to cancer, such as those that raise the risk of liver and cervical cancer, respectively, such as the Liver disease B and C pathogens and some types of Papillomavirus. Hiv / aids significantly raises the risk of some cancers, including Kaposi sarcoma, and increases the risk of acquiring ovarian cancer by multiple times. There is nothing bad I can say about this lovely book because Barbara Galutia Regis went on to describe her experiences as a healthcare professional and provided case studies of some of the various people she had treated. I am very happy to have read this book because it had brief explanations of how everything was handled to the formalities she had to go through.

In my opinion, this well-edited manual aims to educate people on the healthcare system and provide them with the knowledge they need to make wise decisions. Furthermore, just by reading this book, I can tell that the author comes from a long line of medical professionals or providers.

Since Barbara Galutia Regis discusses the importance of healthcare and the need for health literacy while also sharing her personal experience undergoing treatment, I won't give this well-written book a lower rating. She describes how some components of the system aren't particularly nice to the elderly because of their lack of understanding, and that is what opened my eyes to a lot of things in the medical field, therefore there is nothing about this book that I detest.

For its original aim of assisting and teaching everyone about cancer, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. Since she discussed the importance of standing up for one's interests in the medical field, I was still able to learn about the author's early life and how much she looked up to her father, a physician. In fact, I would have enjoyed the book more if she had been more specific about the type of medication that always treated cancer.

Throughout the future year's cancer awareness month, I will strongly advise my friends and acquaintances to read this complete book. I would be overjoyed if this book were read by both young adults and those working in the medical industry. This book is really well edited, and I enjoy how Barbara Galutia Regis included details from her early life to offer entertainment value for those like myself who prefer books with a more grounded tone.
