Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead, written by E. Alan Fleischauer, is a non-fiction about personal planning and finance. The author states that many Americans despise their current jobs, which demotivates them from seeking positive benefits of their current jobs. The current jobs make people have lower chances of saving because of paying bills. The author discusses ways to help people who earn limited salaries plan, such as using various insurance policies. He discusses some insurance policies, such as whole life and universal policies. The traditional retirement planning methods are no longer useful because many Americans live longer than the expected life expectancy. The traditional planning methods involve numbers where people decide to stop working at 65 years, but the author thinks there is a need to rethink it. Do you want to know effective ways of financial planning for retirement? Read this book and find out.
What I liked about this book was the information it had. The information the author provided in this book is helpful to many people since the world is changing and people are living longer due to the improved healthcare system. The author shows the reader how traditional planning for retirement is non-helpful and provides an alternative that suits the current situation. I also liked that the author provided additional resources with more insights and information concerning financial planning. It would help a reader who wants to look for more information on financial planning. The number of resources he provided shows that he had done much research.
I had nothing to criticize in this book since it was great. The language is simple, ensuring anyone can read it. It teaches people many lessons, such as planning for retirement and not leaving a job without getting another.
I rate Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead, written by E. Alan Fleischauer, four out of four stars. The book was professionally edited since I found a few errors. It had many positive aspects and no negative aspects. The educative content of the book was great, with undisputable facts since the author provides evidence supporting his claims. The author supported his new retirement financial planning strategy criticizing the traditional one, which relies on assets and savings. With all these, I think the book deserves a perfect rating.
I recommend this book to those interested in investing and financial planning. It would be helpful since the author talks about financial planning for retirement. He talks about different aspects that involve securing a future since most Americans live longer than the expected life expectancy.
