Review of JTs World
[Following is a volunteer review of "JTs World" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
JTs World is the final installment in E. Alan Fleischauer's five-book Western series starring J. T. Thomas. This fictional work explores the life and adventures of John Thurgood Thomas. John Thurgood Thomas is a wealthy man who owns the JT's World complex in Arizona. Mika Shipley's death at the complex's bowling alley kicks off the novel on a high note. Mika's death causes the deaths of two men who loved her to occur in a complex bar. That is where our journey begins. Because all of these events take place during the complex's grand opening, the launch ceremony is ruined. After JT is nearly killed, Madeline advises him to take a break from all the intensity at his just-opened complex. JT, therefore, goes on a trip with his ranchers to acquire some cattle. During his trip, JT encounters people from all walks of life who might change his life.
One aspect of this book that I enjoyed was the character development. There are many interesting characters in the book from all walks of life. The diverse nature of the characters is admirable. Each character has a sufficient backstory so that the reader can understand their actions. I liked how the author was able to bring out the characters' thought processes as well as highlight their emotions in a way that made them relatable. Because of his incredible moral values, John Thurgood Thomas was my favorite character. JT, for example, was very kind to Maria Woodworth after saving her and did not take advantage of her when she was vulnerable.
There are many things to like about this book, as well as a few drawbacks. The numerous violent scenes were one of the book's flaws for me. The author went out of his way to create a world that appeared lawless and barbaric. The book contains graphic death scenes that will make readers cringe. The majority of the deaths in the novel are also pointless and unrelated to the plot. It was surprising that you could kill someone and there would be no repercussions. I understand that the book is set in a Western world with gun-toting cowboys, but did there have to be so many deaths? The book certainly made me wonder if other Western books were similar.
This is an excellent book that provides readers with an insight into the Western world. I had a good time reading the book. The book appears to have been professionally edited, as I only found a few minor errors. The book has an engrossing plot that will keep readers interested. Based on my reading experience, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
This book is appropriate for readers who enjoy adventure stories. People who enjoy crime thrillers, romance, suspense, and mystery should read it. Readers who enjoy Western fiction would also make an excellent audience.

JT's world has been on my to read list for quite a while now. Seeing this review feels like a sign to finally give this book a read. The storyline is very intriguing being that there's a mysterious murder on the run. Great review.
