Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is an interesting and educational book about retirement. Alan starts this book by discussing what reconfigurement means. Here, he provides a step-by-step guide on how to reconfigure one's life. He goes ahead to talk about Retirement, which is a close friend of Reconfigurement. He provides several ways in which one can have a fulfilled life in this book. He provides several websites which could be of help to us. Get a copy of this book to learn about retirement and all that it entails.
I am not a fan of non-fiction, and I don’t even know what made me pick this book; maybe it was the title because it was unique and intriguing. I wanted to know what reconfigurement means and what it means for one to reconfigure his/her life. I fell in love with this book from the first page. The way the author went about writing this book is admirable. He drops some little jokes in between the words of wisdom in this book; this made it interesting for me because I got to laugh on one or two occasions. I love the way Alan explained his points in this book. He used his experiences to better explain his points. I love the way he provided us with websites that would be of immense help to us. He tells us what these websites are used for and also how they are used. Another beautiful thing I love about this book is that some readers who don’t like bulky books or nonfiction books can skip some parts of it. This is because you mustn’t read everything in this book. You just have to read the parts that are important and the parts that apply to you. I love the language used in this book; it is very simple and easy to understand.
I think most Americans would benefit from this book. I can access the websites provided in this book here in my country, but I think they would be useless since they are only applicable to America. I found a whole lot of errors in this book and they interrupted with my reading. These are the only things I didn’t like about this book.
Therefore, I give this book a rating of 3 out of 4 stars. I deducted a star from my rating because of the many errors I found in this book. If not for the errors, I would have given it a full rating. I didn’t deduct any more stars from it because of the positive aspects I stated above.
This book is beautiful, and I learned a lot from it. The most important thing I learned from this book is that people should start planning their retirement early. I recommend this book to people above the age of twenty. I specifically recommend this book to those who want to learn about retirement and how to reconfigure their lives.
