The Legacy of Job's Wife by Cynthia Koelkar is the story narrating the life journey of Job and Ix'ises. The story starts with the birth of Ix'ises. A pretty girl with beautiful eyes is resting in the lap of a five-year-old boy named Job. Their story starts from this moment. They live a life together.

The story is full of beautiful narration of different phases of their life. From childhood to old age. At first, it looks like it is the story of Job and Ix'ises but towards the end of the story, you will find the concept of God becoming the main theme of the story.

The characters in the story are beautifully portrayed. Every character leaves a unique impression. There are so many characters in the story. It will not end up even in thousands of words if I started talking about different characters and their unique charm. But I can mention the character I loved the most. The character of Job. He is understanding, calm, kind, helping, brave, loving, caring, and with a lot of other qualities. I genuinely loved reading Job and his life journey with Ix'ises.

It is a beautiful story with a unique storyline. The story is full of unique characters. Everyone with a different charm. While reading it looks like I was on a journey of 100 years living every moment along with the storyline. Koelkar has narrated it very beautifully. The end of the story is the best. The satisfaction I got from the end of the story was much more than expected.

Also, the moments between Job and Ix'ises are relieving and calming. You can feel their pure love. The story is engaging. It is full of a series of events one after another.

Discussing some negative points, there are many twists and turns in the story which make you impatient towards the end of the story. The story is related to the Christian faith, so it may not attract readers who do not like reading stories built around the concept of God. Also, the story becomes a little cumbersome at some points. For example in the middle chapters, I got eager when Job will meet Ix'ises again and it took a long time.

Overall I loved the book. I enjoyed it so much. I am already in love with the character of Job. I also liked so many other characters such as Ix'ises, B'nahram, Jabara and Hadad. I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. I recommend others to read this book. It is a very beautiful story. Not 4 stars as I found one spelling error in the book and also one or two negative points that I have mentioned above.

I recommend this book to story lovers and also to the worshippers of God. This story will bring a positive outlook to their life.
