Killing Abel by Michael Tieman is a novel that takes us back in the beginning from the book of Genesis. It starts of by describing the relationship between Adam, Eve and God. Adam and Eve sinned against God by eating the forbidden fruit and were cursed by God as they inhabited the earh. We get to see how they raised their children Abel and Cain through failures and success. Cain turns away from the values he was taught and kills Abel. It goes on to describe the period of floods to Noah. The author uses his imagination to fill the gaps in this bible story. He describes a story of love, humility and responsibility among others.

The book was easy to read and understand. It was also well edited thus making it easy to follow through. Being a historical lover, I loved the fact that this books takes us back to the book of Genesis in the Old Testament where it all begun. Being a Christian makes it much easier to relate with.

This book was too good and I found nothing negative about this book. I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because it has a good storyline and it is very easy for anyone to follow through.

I would recommend this book to historical fiction lovers. If you are a Christian then you will enjoy more as it will be easier to relate with as the story is in the Old Testament, The book of Genesis.
