Review of Entanglement - Quantum and Otherwise
Entanglement: Quantum and Otherwise by John K. Danenbarger is a fictional crime story that takes us through the most amusing story I have read in quite a while. It is a story with a clever plot and easily relatable characters that hook you in. The story starts by taking us back in time to meet a woman by the name of Beth Sturgess. Beth sturgess is the mother to Geena Nuss .We are introduced, however, to beth at the time; she was a teenager and working as a prostitute. The story takes us through her life their own, and as the story progresses, we meet new characters, and everyone seems to hold a dark secret within. Though it doesn't seem to have a particular protagonist, it is a story of Geena's pursuit to work through her family's past and make an important reconnection. It is a story of death, love, duplicity, secrets and passion.
This story is a complete masterpiece, especially with how the author is able to weave together the life of each character. The first thing I loved about the book was the character build and formation. Everyone is connected for some reason. Each character had flaws and mysteries to uncover. The writing style is exquisite, with detailed descriptions and a good story flow. It is a story that gets you involved because it is easy to miss a connection made.
It took me a while to grasp the concept of the storyline. At first, I could not make sense of what was happening. As you delve deeper, however, the book entangles itself and becomes more compelling. Other than that, it was a great read that accurately represented the author's creativity. There is nothing not to like about it, in my opinion. It is fast-paced and genuinely compelling.
I, therefore, rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. No grammatical issues were found hence an easy read. It is quite long but has a lot to offer, from suspense to takeaways. It has the capability to pull you in as a participant in the storyline. The level of complexity of the characters was quite intriguing, giving room for the reader to digest the emotions or flaws of the characters.
Anyone who loves a complex storyline will definitely enjoy this book. I recommend this book to those who enjoy literary crime in general. It may have a storyline related to science fiction but doesn't have a lot of science fiction going on. If you enjoy dissecting characters, too, you may find this read worth your time.
