The MECE. Muse 100+ Selected Practices, Unwritten Rules and Habits of Great Consultants is a four hundred and forty-five paged book written by Christie Lindor. Divided into three sections, Lindor tells us how to be a great consultant and what to expect on the journey of being a consultant. She also tells us what to do and the pitfalls to avoid. Written simply in the English language, an average reader who does not have any relationship with consulting either as a client or a consultant will appreciate and enjoy the book.

The author wrote the book for career-driven persons, and the most enjoyable part of the book for me was the fact that it could be applied to other real-life situations. One of her winning points is how witty and easily understood she writes and the examples she used to get her selected practices across to the reader are easily relatable. What's more, grouping these points into parts in the table of contents was just one more reason why I loved the book. Well, I can't forget how the table of contents made it easy for me to return to one or two of my favourite topics.

Sincerely, I hold the opinion that anyone big on self-improvement will absolutely love this book. Due to the size of the book, I also think that those who have a problem with bulking books will not encounter this challenge here at all - Lindsor wrote in witty and concise sentences.

For these reasons, I will rate the book four out of four stars and encourage any book lover to give this book a try. I'm sure you will be glad you did. While on the exquisite journey that was me reading this book, I did not encounter any grammatical errors and the book was professionally edited. There was no part of the book that I disliked.

As earlier stated, those big on self-improvement will find this book helpful. Individuals with careers or hoping to begin a career in the field that is consulting will find this book very helpful; I can confidently say Lindsor wrote this book with you in mind and she is rooting for your success. I also hold the opinion that it is suitable for both young adults and the older generation - because everyone, irrespective of where they are in life needs a little (or a lot) of help navigating this sometimes stormy sea that is life and living. So here is to mastering unwritten rules and acquiring habits of greatness
