After Abigail was saved from a powerful demon, by her adoptive father, she disobeys the council's orders and does everything she can to figure out where this demon took him so she could get him back. While on her way to a town called Raven’s Peak she meets a man called Haatim, thinking he was just going to be an obstacle in her new assignment, she was later proved wrong. Will they be able to save the people of Raven’s Peak?

Lincoln Cole did a wonderful job in writing, the story. I feel the author's use of descriptive writing makes you feel like you are in the moment with the character, for example on page 10 where Arthur could taste the copper in the air, it takes your mind to a different world trying to figure out just what the atmosphere was like in that exact moment. While I was reading the prologue of the story it already had me hooked. Although there is talk of religion in this story it's not overwhelming and it only adds to the plot. The book contains gruesomely described scenes and I must say I did enjoy the accuracy that Lincoln added because not a lot of paranormal-based books include those scenes. The story had me intrigued and I never expected the story to go the way it did

Raven’s Peak left a lot of questions unanswered and I understand that Lincoln Cole did it to build the reader's anticipation for the follow-up book, but I would have liked a different ending and would also have liked at least some of the questions answered other than that specific reason I enjoyed reading the book and looking forward to the next book. If I am being honest I don't think anyone could have written the book better because not everyone can write a story so good it gives you chills.

I am confidently rating this book a 3 out of 4 stars. I think it takes a lot of research and practice to be able to write scary stories and Lincoln did a great job. As a fan of paranormal books, he did not disappoint and I think a lot of people will agree with me.

I recommend this book to all paranormal book lovers you will not regret reading the book however I do not recommend the book to sensitive readers because as I mentioned before some of the scenes are gruesomely described
