Review of Killing Abel
Killing Abel is a very intricate Novel following the life of Adam and Eve soon after the garden of Eden. Written as a fictional Novel by Michael Tieman, Killing Abel manages to break down the sins of men after Adam is chased out of the garden. Michael deeply indulges readers into the story of a tree that led many to turn away from the tree of life. This story entails about the story of Noah, and how he lived his life. From courage to faith, love to hate, this novel has all in fourteen chapters centered around the first book of the Bible. Killing Abel is a fantastic read, and a summary of how humans have come so far, morally. Tieman offers an understanding to aide that this book is a work of fiction.
Moreover, not only has this book being well edited, but I have also found this story to be exciting and interesting. The writer shares his compiling story to what might had happen, leaving the readers to their own imagination. Based on the Bible, this story still amazes me to how things might had turned out, but one in all. There is a great detail of story to learn here as the novel opens up a new imagination to readers. Killing Abel is a novel that is as dramatic as one fictional should be. The book does have a clear standing on morals and principles that could be a reflection of the modern life. As it was in the days of Noah, people are in pursuit of their own ends.
However, the basis of the story being fictional are good, although, there is an unreasonably amount of repetition, which might clearly creates boredom. The excitement of the story dies down while remaining compiling through out. This story remained a preview of what the Bible talks about, as the writer was much aware of that, he made an emphasis of it through out the book as these were presented as facts.
I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. The reason why I have rated this book 3 stars is due to its repetition of the same story through out the book. The book remains a good start to find some entertainment, a story that has more to do with how the story of men started. It is somehow an interesting read as it gets into the relationship between God and men.
Lastly, I would highly recommend this book to Christian readers. Michael wrote this book seeking to inspire readers about the story of salvation, and that was all inspired by Christ. Killing Abel has more to do about Jesus Christ than about Cain killing his younger brother. It is important that I say this, the novel does have great content that to some extend elevated my knowledge about some Bible verses as the story was uprooted from these verses.
