The appearance of a lady in an apron pulling weeds on their front yard brings about a cascading turn of events for the three friends. Jesi, Nicole and Rachael's relationship becomes a rollercoaster ride that brings them closer together and and also helps them connect to others in the world through the meditative act of simply pulling weeds.

Shea R Embry takes us through the troubles of friendship. We see realistic problems friendships face every day and how the characters get through them with patience and understanding.

Reading The Weed Lady to the end was tough for me in spite of the captivating story. The ability to put readers through the full experience of the characters was substandard and the attention to explicit detail as well. The way climaxes were written failed to incite the expected reaction. Grammatical errors could as well be seen in moderation.

I would rate this book a 2 out of 4. Looking past the errors, the story is captivating.

This book will be suitable for those who are going through a rough patch and needing some form of anchor or inspiration to move forward.
