Josephine, also known as "Jo" for short, has been in love with Luca since the first moment they met as kids. She kept these feelings for him a secret because Luca did not have the same feelings towards her, and their special bond as friends meant more to her. Luca is a loyal friend and wants to help Jo to pursue her dream of opening her very own yoga studio. With his career moving forward to another city, Luca suddenly realizes his feelings for Jo are not just good friends any longer. His future did not include too committing to long-distance relationships at all.

When these two cross the barrier from friends to lovers, Jo and Luca both have to decide between chasing careers and dreams and nurturing the bond of friendship they shared for decades. Their strong bond as friends is truly tested when disaster crosses their path. Will it survive the onslaught of loss and sacrifices? They must weigh the price of friends against that of love.

Time is Eternity, written by Annette G. Anders, is a contemporary romance novel that keeps you glued to the edge of your seat. It is most definitely an easily readable book. The drama is emotional and nail-biting and kept me in suspense until the last page. The characters grow naturally, and the storyline is realistic and very much relatable. Good writing and research skills can be seen throughout the book.

I liked that both sides of the story, the views of both Jo as well as Luca, are portrayed. It makes the bond they share more believable and leave plenty of room for the drama and conflict to unfold. Nowhere in the storyline did I feel that information or speech was duplicated or unnecessary. The story has a strong foundation based on friendship, and I liked that the love between Jo and Luca grew out of it naturally.

There was nothing I did not like about the book. It awakened my curiosity to read the other books that form part of The Full Circle series. I am excited to learn how the relationships between the sub-characters in this novel, came to life. I will be expecting the same emotionally rich content.

I am rating this book a 4 out of 4 stars because it is an excellently written novel. It is reading that will satisfy any reader hungry for romance and love.
