Rediscovering the Wisdom of Human Nature (How Civilization Destroys Happiness) is a book by the author- Chet Shupe. It tells us that we are disobeying 'The Law Of Life' by not serving life. The Law of Life means to do things that makes us happy. The author says that the pain we experience through different phases of life is an indication that the law of life is being disobeyed and according to him, civilization is the reason behind that. Modern people are not happy as compared to the pre-historic people and the suffering in the form of depression, marital problems and loss of sisterhood are some evidences of that.

I really enjoyed reading the book. Reading this book gives a ray of hope and tells us how we are all connected to each others with a bond of humanity. We all are seeking for spiritual elevation, but in reality we are being swayed away from it by the force of civilization. Also, the book is well- edited, I did not find any error in the book.

There is nothing that I did not like in the book. I loved every chapter and every aspect of it. The things that the author has mentioned in the book is something that is applicable on all human beings and nothing in it is biased towards anything.

I would rate this book Four out of Four Stars , because I loved the book from every angle and It is well-edited. I did not even find a single error in the book.

This book is suited for every age group. Since it has very much to learn from and the content is also for everyone, I would highly recommend everyone to read this book.
