2018 Boston Press Group Published a life-changing guide; written by Gustavo Kinrys M.D. and Alexandra Gold M.A. A book I believe should be on every household bookshelf, not just seen in the local downtown apothecary. Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress: A Practical Guide. Just as the title states, this book will help guide you down a healthier path for natural relief for everyday ailments.1
Holistic treatments, also known as homeopathic practices, are not just a new upcoming trend. These herbal blends, recipes, and techniques have been handed down through time through our generations. Homeopathic methods aim to help treat everyday ailments Naturally from meditation, yoga, and herbal treatments.1 When used correctly, holistic treatments usually have little to no side effects.1
As long as the person reading understands, the food and drug administration has not evaluated these practices and statements. Anyone looking to start changing their diet or medications should talk to their health physician before making any drastic changes. Some herbs or methods can be unhealthy depending on the dosage the way it is prepared or used. Also, every person’s body is different. One treatment used to help one person may not have the same effect on another person.
With proper reference to F.D.A. regulations, a professional editing team, and citations supporting the information given throughout, I rate this Practical Guide four out of four stars. I personally have more faith in natural methods of healing. I will definitely be urging my loved ones to check this book out. Unlike most strictly serious guides, this had some humor sprinkled in, which was refreshing.
I recommend this book to everyone, from high school-aged youth to our honored elders. It is good to teach our younger generations natural traditions and practices. And it is never too late to choose a naturally healthier lifestyle.
Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress: A Practical Guide was exceptionally well written and edited. I hope to see more work from Gustavo Kinrys M.D. and Alexandra Gold M.A... Both have a good background and official medical training. Also, both see the harsh reality of over-medicating. I commend them for trying to bring awareness to natural practices. I will definitely be looking out and pre-ordering any future works I find.
