This is quite an interesting and fun book to give a read, written by doctor Morton E. Tavel. The book goes in depth on some of the most popular health tricks to losing weight and breaks it down to help you understand them. It also explores a wild variety of routes one could take on their weight loss journey. As the books title says he helps the reader understand deeply about dieting and how to adjust your diet to benefit you the reader.

I like that this book is written by a doctor so he understands deeply about the spoken field. He gives great facts and backs them up with the right evidence. Doctor Morton put effort into this book to make sure he cater for as many people as he could, speaking about how different foods and diets will affect people with certain allergies and conditions. He does a sublime job and braking down whats really added in certain foods that normally you wouldn't know or question. He also gives you examples of the types of food you eat at restaurants and gives you whats in the food and the amount that is in the food. he did a great job at the level of research and information he acquired and put into this book to help anyone who reads the book. He breaks down every food group imaginable so this book is kind of a guide and makes dieting easier for the simple folk to understand and strive in.

The only negative thing I found about the book is being that the author is a doctor some of the language and context used is of a very high nature. Some words you might have to look up in the dictionary like I did , but other than that it was a breeze. This book shows that he is a great doctor and he wants to help as many people as he can all over the world. All in all I found this book very helpful and insightful and is a great read to anyone who is interested in this field.
i give this book a 4 out of 4.
