Have you ever wondered what would have happened to Cain and Abel while they were growing up? Killing Abel by Michael Tieman is a fictional story where the author tries to use his imagination to create a story about how Adam and his family coped outside the Garden of Eden.

Eve couldn't help but imagine what it felt like to eat from the forbidden tree when she saw the serpent eating from it. She had just spent seven days on earth. Yet she knew that only an angel could take the body of a serpent and talk. With little knowledge of Lucifer, he was able to convince her to eat the fruit. When Adam came back, he was also tempted to eat the fruit. After they ate the fruit, they couldn't help but feel guilty about what they did. To protect it, God had to cast them out of the Garden of Eden and place cherubim to protect it. Outside the garden, they become husband and wife and start to have children. At first, they couldn't give birth to a baby boy, but after crying out to the Lord, He told her how to go about it. She soon conceived and gave birth to Cain. Two years later, they gave birth to another son, Abel. However, Cain had an obsession with the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve were forced to make him a map to help him locate the Garden of Eden. Did he make it to the Garden of Eden? What would have prompted him to kill Abel? Grab a copy of this book. This is not your regular storyline.

This book left me speechless. At first, I thought it was the normal story I knew from the Bible, but while reading it, I saw a whole new twist to this book. Despite being fiction, the author made this story look so true, and the story also blended with the one in the Bible, just that it added a little excitement to it. I have read this story a good number of times, but I must confess that I have never been this engrossed in it. I could feel what Eva felt when Abel was killed. I must applaud the author for this creativity. The author made sure that the objective of this story was also reflected in this book.

I didn't find anything to dislike about the book. I like the fact that the author didn't make the story entirely Eve's fault. The fact that she didn't have good knowledge of Lucifer made her sin pardonable to mankind. I couldn't stop myself from having a mental picture of this story. The author's style of writing made me feel as if I hadn't read or seen this story anywhere. Despite going against God, he still never forsook them. This shows that God is indeed a loving father.

This book received a perfect 4 out of 4-star rating from me. I found no errors. This shows that the book was exceptionally well-edited. This book is a good read for people who love reading Bible stories and historical fiction.

The story serves as a unique pov. Life out of Garden of Eden and finding the way back to it. The title makes sure to grab my attention. Thanks for a concise review!
