Craig could never wish for anything more than he had. After meeting Jenny, his gloomy life took a turn for good after years of hardships. He was living a peaceful life in Utah with his two kids (Tim and Sally), his wife Jenny and Steeler their dog. He loved them, cared for them, and could do anything for their sake. Even if it means fighting with an otherworldly creature that he didn't know existed. His peaceful life had a huge stop when a strange parcel came to his door during the depth of night. Inside, they found a mysterious yet intriguing mirror that they decided to keep until finding out the right owner. This was the worst decision they could make. As strange things started happening from then on. His wife's in danger and Craig needs to go on a deadly mission to protect her and his family. Will Craig, who recently had come across things like dimensions and time travel be able to carry out the job that may cost him his life or not. To solve this riddle, you need to read Legacy by Chris Coppel.

This book is a mystery and sci-fi fantasy book with the perfect combination of old folk tales and modern theories. Coppel stirred them together like a mixologist mixing different alcohol to prepare the perfect cocktail. You may get different vibes from different parts of the story. Sometimes it's sweet, many times nerve-wracking and mystical. Coppel also included issues like child abuse and PTSD in this 179 paged book that added depth to Craig's character. Many elements were woven together but never got mixed. On one hand, you get amazed by time travel and multi-dimension theories, on the other hand, you are immersed in Craig and Jenny's love story.

To be honest, there was nothing I could find to dislike about this book. It's easy to read, as the chapters aren't too long or too short. The pacing of the story is smooth. And the cliffhangers at the end of most chapters force you to keep reading instead of putting the book down. Tim and Sally are adorable, and Steeler may cheer your mood. I've found only one grammar mistake in The book.

In the end, I would like to give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. I may recommend this book to everyone. But, if you're suffering from past trauma or PTSD, you may reconsider reading it.
