By The Way by Dennis Santos is a fascinating fictional novel. The book tells the story of Dalan James Owen. Dalan is a young man in his mid-twenties and he has a sister, Caren. Caren and Dalan became more responsible for each other after the death of their parents, Bill and Mary Owen. The book starts with the marriage between Dalan and Jennifer, and the first chapter also narrates how Dalan's parent died. Dalan has his fears, but Jennifer loves him because he does not hide his emotions from her. On the last day of their honeymoon, their private plane crashed into the beach and tragic events followed. The tragic experience at Rainbow valley affected Dalan's health, and he was hospitalized. After a year, Dalan meets Buddy McNair while he was trying to test-run Billy's airplane. Buddy's personality has a positive impact on Dalan, and he encourages him to let go of everything that has befallen him in the past and to have hope. Dalan decides to follow Buddy on his adventure. Their adventure takes them out of earth, but due to their spaceship's failure they land on Ouspad. Will Dalan be able to find peace?

The book was entirely amazing from the beginning till the end. It involves family, adventure, and tragedy. The book has 28 chapters and each chapter has a unique heading that gives the reader an idea of what the chapter entails. The book contains 260 pages. The author wrote the book with a Christian perspective, and why I think that is because the story ended with a scriptural text.

The book is character-driven, and the author focused more on Dalan and his adventure. The book was written with the third-person narrative. One thing I like about the book is that it agrees with the fact that there is a being that exists above humanity. The author did a good job in using simple words to describe the environment and character's emotion.

One lesson that the book teaches is that we should have faith in the manifestation of God's will. The book also helped me to understand the importance of relationship. Dalan's relationship with his sister helped to keep him sane even after the tragic event that happened at Rainbow valley. I enjoyed every aspect of the book, and I did not notice any negative aspect.

This book was well-written, and it was professionally edited. I did not notice any grammatical or spelling error while reading the book.

I recommend this book to all lovers of fiction. This book was a good read for me. Due to the points mentioned above, I would rate the book 4 out of 4 stars.

I really feel bad for Dalan. The mishappenenigs in his life were not stopping and I am curious to know what will happen to him in the end of the story.

I love a good fiction book! I wouldn't usually read a book with an underlying note in religion, but I am a bit curious. Great review!

This sounds like an amazing book. I am happy to notice no sibling rivalry. Two orphaned children living in harmony as they find their significant others. Does Jennifer stay by her man in distress? Does life on another planet offer a second chance? I am happy about the element of adventure and friendships. Does Buddy help him with his faith? Will they accept God's will and supremacy? Great review!
