The book starts on a light note with the creation stories. William Combs takes the readers to the beginning of time right before God created Eve. We get a look at Adam’s life and his loneliness that prompted God to make a companion for him. As the story progresses, we see the downfall of mankind through Adam and Eve. The author explains the downfall of man in a very detailed manner, going further by giving examples of other people in the Bible who went against God’s orders. The book provides great insight on sin and how evil came about, and the salvation that is offered to Christians.

I liked the study questions that have been provided at the end of every chapter. The readers are equipped with discussion questions which they can re-examine to get a better understanding of the topic that was being discussed by the author.

Another positive aspect of the book was the different Bible stories that the author included, to emphasize the various topics he was discussing.

I liked how the author illustrated Cain’s story. William Combs expounds that Cains' strained relationship with his brother would drive him to commit a bad deed if he would not be able to rule over the urge of sinning. I also liked the author’s viewpoint of the events of the garden of Eden. Combs has kept the story interesting while still retaining the original events of the Bible. His perspective on the scriptures is thoughtful and offer refreshing insight to readers.

I enjoyed and appreciated the author’s words of encouragement to the readers. Who Told You That You Were Naked provides a powerful boost to Christians’ faith in the word of God.

The only negative attribute that I had with the book are the personal testimonies provided by the author. Though some testimonies were encouraging, others were unrealistic and hard to believe.

I rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars. It has been well researched and the author has provided credible sources for his work. I believe that the book has been professionally edited.

I recommend this book to Christian believers who are intrigued to know more about the fall of mankind. This book has provided reasonable insights on the topic of sin and salvation. The author details how Christians can acquire new garments through Jesus Christ if they decide to abide by God’s word.
If a reader is offended by any Bible mentions and scriptures, then they should avoid this book.
