If you want to learn more about Christian stigma defining Jesus or broaden your knowledge about God and His connections to the universe and humankind, this book can help.

Wilderness Cry is a thesis written by Hilary L. Hunt. This book is the author's journey to finding answers to so many questions about religious teaching. Hunt realized that there was a misguidance of his religion ever since he was a child. Hunt stated here his understanding based on his observations, learnings, and extensive research. He is also promoting ideas contrary to the teachings of the church but from a different perspective.

The author found out that organized Christian religion is a hoax. According to his research, this religion does not conform to the teaching of goodness and perfection.

The wide range of tackled subject matter is the most I liked. These include marriage, sex, and religion. There were strong statements the author pointed out about marriage that became a traditional injustice acts centuries ago. There were absolute pieces of evidence and facts that explain the author's research. It says that the church and the religious personalities are not following the will of God. They are doing contrary to the will of the Creator.

One of the things that the author said that got me thinking was about the built fancy churches by Christians. Well, Hunt has a point there.

Another thing that, for me, became remarkable is the discussion about free will. The Aquinas view and the author's view were the two concepts presented to justify the realization of free will. The results were profound.

There is one statement of the author that I disliked most. Hunt stated that the selfish mindset is unbreakable by humankind. I believe that we have control over our actions. Therefore selfishness is reversible.

I will give this a generous rating of four out of four stars. My despised statement will not at all affect the rating. I feel that there is pure honesty of the author in writing this thesis. The research is well presented. There were clear discussions of the concerned topics. Even though there were a few errors, still this book is professionally edited. I commend the author for being a keen observer and brave enough to tell the people about his observations.

Wilderness Cry is provoking writing. I honestly recommend this kind of book to readers, brave believers, and thinkers with a broad understanding of religion, science, and the universe.

I am not a very religious person, and I had no intrigue whatsoever for religion. This could be an eye-opener for me. Thank you so much for the lovely review!
