Review of Rulers of the Galaxy
Rulers of the Galaxy by Tayma Tameem is a science fiction novel with a plot that delves into intergalactic wars between planets. Salarin, one of the main characters, is a warrior that wakes up in a ship with no memory of what happened before she woke up. In the ship, she encounters an army that is trying to kill a mysterious baby in the ship. Salarin is guided by her instincts, and she is able to save the baby. Salarin is able to escape with the baby. As she escapes from her enemies, She tries to recall the events that have happened but then she can only remember her name. The young female warrior is able to find a safe city where she is able to take care of the mysterious child. Meanwhile, Daaken is a General of the Imperial army. He is the leader of the ground force of the city's army. In the war, he gives the command to his troop against the Elementals. The aim of the war is to rule over the Elementals and kill the mysterious baby that was taken by Salarin. Salarin encounters Daaken and they both fight over the baby. Will Salarin regain her memory? Will the Imperials succeed in their plan to kill the baby?
Rulers of the Galaxy is an intriguing book filled with surprises and twists. It has an exciting aura that keeps its readers glued from the beginning till the end. The book has an interesting plot with a surprising storyline. Tayma did a good job in the characterization of the story.
I have always loved reading science fiction novels due to my affinity for them and this book was not an exception. The author did a good job in giving out enough details in the prologue. I flowed very well with the book, although there were a few times when I lost the flow. I learned a few things from the book. I learned about optimism, determination, and friendship. The partnership between Bosco and Salarin was interesting.
The only slight issue I had with the book was the numerous names. It was hard to keep up with the numerous names in the book except for the dominant recurring ones.
The book was professionally edited. The book was well written. I did not encounter any errors whilst reading the book. Rulers of the Galaxy was a book that I enjoyed reading. Therefore, I would give it a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. I would recommend the book to lovers of science fiction stories that have an intergalactic theme.
