Families who realize that they have extraordinary talents and must learn how to utilize them without causing damage are the focus of Antoine Bonner's novel, Rise of the Savior. As soon as Jamie discovered his abilities and discovered that his wife Megan was having an affair, the plot began to shift toward conflict. Having his wife around when their son was in need of assistance was too much for Jamie, an acolyte of death and a desperate parent, to bear. As a result of his insecurities, he killed his spouse.

You may assume the narrative is over at this point, but I can assure you that the twists and turns that follow will keep you guessing as to what kind of writer Antoine Bonner is, full of inventiveness and great insights. By reading this book right now, you'll be able to find out for yourself if Jamie can manage his talents and save his son. It's time for a major decision!

With each page that I turned, the novel morphed from a happy-hour yarn about picnics, family gatherings, and summer vacations into an action-packed thriller. My favorite part of the book and aspect of Amanda's approach is that she tapped into the force of her own kundalini to take mastery of her inner strength. In light of the fact that she had just lost her father, this was an important and perhaps even timely choice.

As a rule, I didn't enjoy Jamie's cold-blooded murder of his wife, even though they weren't on good terms. I'm sure she wouldn't have allowed her son Lucas to be away from her for so long if she were still alive. Jamie succumbed to his inner demons and acted rationally because of the situation. As a side note, I also didn't like how Amanda's parents were victims of circumstance and had to die without any idea of what was going on. As a result, the harm may have been minimized, and Jamie would not have exerted so much control over Amanda and Saira if they had lived longer or had any influence.

That's OK, I'll take it. It's a terrific example of a writer's intuition. I am rating this book a perfect 4 out of 4 stars. The author clearly kept the plot moving from beginning to conclusion, enticing readers with a new issue at every turn. There will be a new surprise in store for you when you think it's all over, so don't give up just yet! I am waiting eagerly for the film.

I suggest this book to fans of action-fantasy novels since the plot keeps you wondering until the very last word on the last page.
