Review of Fish Wielder
There are a lot of fantasy fiction books in this world, and most of them are pretty amazing, but have you ever read a book that is the parody of some of the most famous fantasy books, cause if you have not, then I've just the right thing for you. Today we have Fish Wielder by J. R. R. R. (Jim) Hardison with us. A book which will surely make your day even better.
The story begins with Thoral Mighty Fist, a powerful warrior in the fictional world of Grome. Grome is a place filled with different kinds of creatures, talking animals, wizards, elves, etc. One day, Thoral meets Bradfast, a talking koi fish. They both start to go on different kinds of adventures with Blurmflard, his mighty blade, and Warlordhorse, his steed, given to him by Yiz, a wizard, and his mentor. When he is not in an adventure, he spends his time drinking mead and brooding. On one of his adventures, he saves the elvish princess from Necrogrond, an evil wizard. The princess started to like the mighty warrior after that incident.
The king of elves asks Thoral to find the leader of Bad Religion, who is threatening to destroy the elves of Grome. Then began the journey of our mighty warrior. In this journey he meets many more creatures, dwarves, goblins, elves, and many more infamous creatures from various fantasy novels. Thoral's backstory is also discussed while his journey is in progress, and it plays a major role in the story.
The thing that I liked the most about this book is that it is really fun to read. As it is the parody of many great books, it is full of humor and comic scenes. But that's not the only thing in it. Although the book is mainly focused on humor, it has a really well-written plot and the backstory of our warrior is truly amazing, with great twists and turns it is going to be one of my favorites in this genre.
The storyline of the book is really amazing, and it's very well written. The plot, the characters, the dialogues, everything was outstanding. The book is very well edited, as I did not find any grammatical mistakes or typos in it. The language used in it is easy to understand for all, and anyone who likes the fantasy genre can go for it as it has no profanity or vulgarity.
I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars as it was professionally edited, and I really enjoyed reading it. A fun ride filled with all sorts of adventures and mysteries. This book will be liked by people who are into the fantasy fiction genre, but if you want to just laugh about a guy playing with his life, you can definitely go for it.
