Review of Bitcoin Answered
Bitcoin Answered : Beginner's Guide to everything bitcoin by Jon law and Alan John is an attempt at disentangling the fragmentend wave of information around bitcoin being received by the general public. The book tackles all the concepts through a simple question based format starting with "what is bitcoin?" To the extent in which an understanding of bitcoin from sentimental, technical, historical and conceptual stand point. As the title indicates, it's guide for complete beginners; which is very easy to understand even for a five yea olds; with questions like "how would you explain bitcoin for a five years old?" are included.
I learned much about bitcoin and cryptocurrency that I never had a clue before. Interestingly, the book is like answering every questions when they just come up to me." Is bitcoin the first ever cryptocurrency?" I did think it was. But the reality, which every one is unfamiliarized with, is different. It was not the first crypto ever. Satoshi Nakamoto released bitcoin's white paper in 2008, and bitcoin itself was released in 2009. These events are known as being the first if their perspective kind; this is not wholly true.
It will take as back to 1980's when a group of developers in Netherlands tried to link money to cards using "blinding formula" to be used in the encryption, and founded a company called digicash. And in 1990's including Elon Musk's PayPal which introduced easy P2P payment online. All of these projects and dozens more eventually led to bitcoin. That's why it's not the first one, but it is actually the first large-scale successful project of its kind. I don't think anyone is going to finish reading the book with out having their questions answered entirely.
A glossary is also included in the book to provide a solid foundation of knowledge, and full comprehension of any topic discussed in the book. It is split into two sections: essential terms and treading terms. anyone can simply understand terms like mining, cold and hot wallets, halving, airdrops, tokens and more.
I recommend Bitcoin Answered : Beginner's Guide to everything bitcoin for reader who have any interests in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, they will find it easier to digest the terms and start their journey of treading. I did not identity any negative aspect of the book. i have no complaint about it, except for it's poor editing. Hence I rate this book three out of four stars. every part of the book is in the form of questions and answers so everyone is going understand every parts of it with out any doubt. so I recommend it for anyone to check out this book before surfing their crypto world.
