Review of All Good Things
Harmony did not arrive at her workplace. Her fellow workmates were worried. Some fellow workmates took blames instead of Harmony. She is an easy person to like. The previous night Harmony worked until it was late and everyone knew that she went home when it was late. Harmony worked in a law firm that belonged to her father. In her office, there was bloodstain which made her co-workers speculate that she was victimized. Others thought that it was bleeding from a gunshot but they were not sure. Dan was also missing and Harmony's father was too missing. This made Jack wonder if he can call the Police. Jack asked Chris to check the camera recording if they could see Harmony leave the building. They forward the tape until it 2:11 AM they found out that Harmony is alive but it seems something was wrong because she was crying. The police came and interrogated Jack and later told him that Harmony's father was murdered while in Asia. Jack could not believe and he ended up asking himself too many questions. The police also interrogated Jack and told Jack lots of things he did not know. What do you think Happened to Harmony? is she responsible for her father's death? through reading this novel you will get the answers.
The characters are well presented and each character played his role well. There is a good portrayal of hard work which is indicated by the narration in this novel. The level of concern shown by all characters towards Harmony is nice and this should be there in all workstations. I also like how technology has been used in this novel. The level of intelligence shown by the police while they were interrogating Jack is extremely impressive. I also learned that perfection in any kind of work requires one to work for it. This is visible when lawyers in this novel familiarised themselves with the cases before they went on to the courts.
The illustration is also clear in a way that makes a reader have imagery in his mind. The language engaged is simple and easy to understand. I also gained an understanding of law firms. The level of suspense prevails and persist all through the novel. The storyline of All Good Things by Rosemary Reeve has a tremendous flow from the first chapter to the last. I also learned that police will act in 48 hours if a case of a missing person is reported
The use of threats to earn employees honesty is not good and this should be avoided even in real life. I did not see a table of content in this novel and I had no overview of what I expecting to read. I also did not laugh or smile while reading it therefore, there was no humour in this novel. The epilogue was absent.
I will award this novel a rating of four out of four stars It is professionally edited, there are no typos, the grammar is okay and the story has a good flow. There are a few borderline and vulgar terms but their presence did not affect the general rating of the novel. The reason why I gave this rating is that the character had a sense of compassion for each other in their workplace.
It was not a simple read, but all in all, I completed it. I will suggest this novel. This novel is suitable for middle-aged adults, lawyers and all faiths. There were no mistakes that I noticed.
