Rediscovering the Wisdom of Human Nature , by Chet Shupe, analyzes the origins of the human nature, and the wisdom that accompanies it. It digs deep into the reasons for the loneliness that prevails in the lives of many, and demystifies the power of institutions. The book in a sentence is best described as a road map leading the reader back to the roots of humanity.

I found quite a lot to digest as I read through this book. The author brings to the limelight the existence of the spiritual nature of humans, that has been long abandoned over the centuries. He enumerates the errors gradually compounded by man's ideologies, and laws. Besides that, the concept of sisterhoods was introduced, and how it should be the main determinant in the affairs of the home, and society. Interestingly, the author presents his opinions on the ideal roles of the male folk, and gives his reasons for doing so. Indeed the book is a school on its own, as you learn from each page, interesting insights written down in ink.

A positive aspect of the book remains it's well planned pattern. The write-up was done with discretion and in a manner that carried the reader along. You'd find yourself nodding at his explanations, as you peruse through each page. For instance, when he made reference to an indegenious tribe in the Amazon that still adhered to the old cultures, and traditions, he cited the words of a first-hand witness to corroborate his point. It made the opinions presented, easy to understand. The reading tempo was one that progressed in a slow, yet steady manner, as the author drew the reader deeper into the world of discoveries he had found. At some point, the write-up began to look like a tunnel, lined with loads of interesting ideologies. These are so eye catching, that you couldn't help but pause, and study each.

In all honesty, I found no negative aspect of this book. Every individual is entitled to his or her opinion. It is left for the reader to accept or reject what has been presented, analyzed, or debated.

The book was well written, with no errors found. I must commend the creativity of the writer with regard to this.

I am rating the book 4 out of 4 stars. The ability to send across your ideas in a clear, and concise manner to the reader is a plus any day. The write-up found in this book achieved that aim.

I am recommending the book to philosophers, as well as men, and women aged 23 to 45. These, will appreciate better, the concepts analyzed in the book.
