In Cynthia and Dan: Cyber War, Dorothy May Mercer writes about Cynthia and her brother Glenn. In this tale, she talks about love and cyberwar. The love story is that of Cynthia, Dan, her boyfriend, and Sky, her mysterious lover. It is a story about a woman’s dilemma when she falls out of love with her partner and starts crushing on a stranger on whom she is unable to find any information. She must choose between staying with the boyfriend who loves her, but whom she has started loving less than she did a year ago, and the stranger who has shown her that her world could be rocked with emotions deeper than she can ever phantom.

Glenn on the other hand occupies himself with fighting against evil with the only superpower he has – the power of hacking into anything hackable. This war is waged against enemies of all things right. They are terrorists who have made up their mind to destroy civilization as we know it and bring suffering to all those that stand in their way. These terrorists go by different names. But one name that we have all come to know is ISIS. This war for the souls of gullible children whose minds can be shaped into any desired form by touting convincing but false information is fought on the internet. One of these groups takes things too far when they make plans to harm the president of the United States of America. Glenn, Cynthia, and their two recruits must rise to the occasion and save their president. Their success will be determined by how good they are at what they do.

I feel a strong urge to praise Dorothy May Mercer for writing this steaming novel that offers hot romance and actions in its pages. So I will do just that. The romance in this book is something that you would see in a classic romance movie. The way Sky and Cynthia met was innocent but it quickly escalated (in a good way) to conversations and an exchange of words that prove that you do not need to know a person for a year to devote your heart and being to them. You do not need to have spoken with them for eons to love them with all your heart. I wish that for everybody. That without the drama and headaches that characterized Cynthia’s romance with the two men in her life.

My favorite out of all the things and stories that were perfectly presented in Cynthia and Dan: Cyber War is the action that took place on the Lawn of the White House. The very day that the main event of the decade (the attack on the president) went down is the day that saw the most suspense in the story. For countless times I warred with my mind on how things would turn out. I could not decide on what outcome was most likely to play out because of how unpredictable the story had been from the very first page. I enjoyed having that personal war because it made me enjoy the whole scene more than I set out to when I started reading the book.

I did not dislike any point, feature, scene, outcome, or thing in Cynthia and Dan: Cyber War. I absolutely disliked nothing. Neither did I detect any grammatical mistake(s) in the book (and it was a book with many pages). This proves Dorothy May Mercer excellently edited it. I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. I will not go ahead to list reasons why I did not rate it lower because I believe that the first sentence of this paragraph says it all.

Cynthia and Dan: Cyber War is definitely for a mature audience that wants to read a story about love and war against terrorists fought on the web. It should be read by only a mature audience because it contains a very very graphic or explicit sex scene.

I thought it was thoughtful for the author to put ample warning on the chapter with the sex scene. Thank you for your take on this book. :balloon:
