The book 'Solaris seethes' is about a girl named 'Rynah', who is a security guard and is protecting a crystal in a geothermal lab. Her fiance 'Klanor' steals the crystal to fulfill a prophecy from legends of planet 'Lynar'. The crystal is responsible for the stability of the magnetic field of the planet, so when klanor steals the crystal the planet crumbles under earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Feeling betrayed by her fiance and abandoned on the planet, Rynah discovers her grandfather's spaceship named 'Solaris' which incorporates an artificial intelligence that allows the ship to express itself like a human. Solaris tells Rynah about the myths and the folktales regarding the crystal and also educates her about the dangers of letting klanor have the crystals that combine to control a deadly weapon. Rynah , though has no faith in myths and folklore, agrees with Solaris and sets on a journey to find 4 heroes and 6 crystals in space, thus the adventure. The heroes are from different space and time of our earth and crystals are on different planets which Rynah tries to find while being under constant threat by Klanor and other enemies.

It is indeed hard to point out anything that might interest any reader. Only one positive point I could gather was her ability to write action and fight scenes, which her adventure solely rides on .Though this book does send an indirect message that anyone can write a novel. Due to the trite events and execrable literary work, this book would have been suitable for children, if well edited .However, the author herself is negligent about her unauthentic writing and could have removed some specific parts to match the story with writing skills.

Janet McNulty's writing skills are superfluous and unreliable, also she has an habit of using Parentheses heavily that interrupts the flow of text, rather adding forgotten details than saving the quality of writing. The book is written in 3rd person which switches between omniscient and limited constantly making it a confusing read, failing to take advantage of 3rd person POV writing, which provides a wider narration opportunity .The author's dialogues and vocabulary are pedestrian upon the clichés ,she has been lax about giving time to world building and character development resulting in mediocre description, plot errors, unrelatable characters, fickle character arcs. She has far less knowledge for writing science fiction, compared to other sci fi novels.

Due to grammatical errors, reading Solaris seethes was aggravating, it doesn't seem like it's professionally edited, and in my opinion it needs another draft more than editing.
With the description above, I'd like to give this book 2 out of 4 stars .Strictly stated, this book is not at all comparable to other young adult sci fi, with predictable and dull plot, plus juvenile literature and considerable amount of grammatical mistakes.

I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone, who are looking for a fresh ,smooth and productive read. This amateurish book has nothing new to confer. I doubt if the author gave any genuine effort and time in writing this book, but reading her work is certainly a waste of time.
But any readers who only want story, action filled, rushed novels and those who don't pay heed to literary work, details and description of an unknown world, banal events, can suit themselves with the book.
