Review by Trevor Ayombe -- The Wanting Hearts
Sandy quits her job to accompany her best friend Emily for a trip to London that resulted from a lottery win. They have a good time in London and Sandy keeps having a dream about a man known as Tyler whom she seems to like a lot. The more she dreams about Tyler and their meeting place, the more her memory keeps building up. This story leans on Stephen King's words that say, "and in real life, endings aren't always neat, whether they're happy endings, or whether they're sad endings."
In the unknown, Nicko is abducted by aliens and lives in an aliens' world. She works as a servant to Treyhamire who later tells her she is no longer a human but now an alien.

Full of ego, he is forced to work like any other vampire to survive. He learns to live a simple life and finds love in its simplest form.
Reunion is a love story between Cass, a human, and Hunter the werewolf. Cass living her life only to find out that her family and the people she knew from childhood are werewolves. In shock, but she accepts and finally gets a chance to love Hunter the werewolf but the love doesn't last long.
Young Sire is a story about Alex and Clove who are vampires. Alex saves Clove from his abusive father, takes him to a hospital but later breaks out of the hospital with Julius fearing his situation may not become better. He then turns Clove into a vampire to save his life. Alex lives in the past and present, having memories of an old vampire know as Julius, the love of his life. Alex follows instructions left behind by Julius in a series of events just to keep himself and Clove alive
The wanting hearts by Nicole Jordan is a collection of fictitious stories that involve vampires, werewolves, aliens, and humans.
I enjoyed this book because of the writer's creativity. She takes the reader through fine descriptions of events and attention to details that captivate the reader by creating a mental picture while going through it. The stories are so clear with a blend of love, humor, and other life events.
Some descriptions are very foreign especially the story of Nicko in an alien world. It was hard to get a mental picture because there is no standard form of aliens and their environments. This book has grammatical, spelling, and typing errors.
I rate The wanting hearts by Nicole Jordan 3 out of 4 stars.
I recommend this book to adults who love fiction stories. This is because the book contains adult language, drug use, child abuse, and homosexuality.
