The Scarlet Queen by Mitch Reinhardt is the third book of the series The Dark Wolf Saga. This one talks about a war against the Scarlet Queen, who wants to destroy Alluria and to save their place, the five friends, Jane, Geof, Sawyer, Ariel and Ishara, have to unite the different races. The Dwarves want to play along and fight the evil queen, but the differences between the humans and elves are coming in between the alliance to win this war.

What I enjoyed the most about this book is how Mitch builds the world, so full of details, magic, and heroes. The world is so full of enchanting details that makes the reader wants to go inside the book and be there with Jane, Geog, Sawyer, Ariel and Ishara, and support them on their journey. Another good thing about this book, a perfect one, actually, is Ariel. She is the leader of the group, the clever one, who thinks rationally and will always do whatever it takes to save her friends and people. And her personality is so amazing, she is tough but soft at the same time, she knows when she has to act like the leader of the group and when to acts as a friend, everything just makes her the best character in this book.

Even though the perfect details about Reinhardt's world, sometimes the scenes changes happen so fast, and without descriptions of it, that made me feel lost sometimes while reading the book. And some words should be more well-chosen, to make the reading more fluid and comfortable.

My rate to The Scarlet Queen is 4 out of 4 stars. I am, totally, recommending this book to all of my friends and everyone I can. The world is fantastic, full of adventures, and perfect characters. And there were only a few mistakes and very small ones, showing a good editing process.

I recommend this book to people who like Lord of The Rings, the shadow world of Cassandra Clare, Harry Potter and Narnia, you can easily find a lit bit of these in The Scarlet Queen, and more. The novel is so full of surprises and emotions, that is worth reading it, I guarantee it. And I recommend reading the first two books of The Dark Wolf Saga to a complete interaction and knowledge of the five friends and their stories and the world build. So if you are a fan of magic and magical creatures, this is a good book to be given a chance.
