We are Voulhire: Someone Else's End by Matthew Tysz is the third book of the We Are Voulhire, Fantasy/Fiction series. The main story in this book is about the species from the neighboring lands of Voulhire, looking to settle within the city of Voulhire because of its available space and resources, but is the city of Voulhire truly as good as it seems?

During one of the king's hearings, a masked individual interrupts the event in attempt to harm the king. was this part of Maldorath's plans? The king realizes that he is in danger and because the crowd witnesses this sudden turn of events, they make their fear known, rather quickly. The city of Voulhire nearly instantly turns into chaos but what will happen next?

Once Galen shows up in the book, he becomes the narrator for the most part. We can clearly see his character grow throughout the book as he grows to what seems to be a good, kind person to a true strong warrior. Rowan and Demetrius also have their moments as the narrators in this book.

What I liked most about this book is when Galen takes the stage in the narration in the book. His use of slang and down-to-Earth language makes me, as the reader feel as though I am having a personal conversation with him. The subtle humor that Galen projects in serious situations is extremely well done, "she was quiet, even up to when the hooves of my horse were almost stepping on her toes". This sense of humor is also excellently used when the reader is made aware of how contradictory what Galen says, is towards what he thinks and feels, "'absolutely', I said. Yeah, more like absolute lie."
There is nothing specific that I disliked about this book as this is the kind of book that I really enjoy reading.

I rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars because it is a well written and well edited book which leaves you at the tip of your chair. I did not give this book a rating of 3 stars because it barely has any errors and it left me wanting to read the whole series. This book is a chapter leading on from another so it would be great to read the whole series to understand the storyline. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good Fiction story.
