Review by Paulson47 -- We are Voulhire: The Flesh of the...
The kingdom of Voulhire was peaceful and beautiful. Now it is the past. It is something that doesn’t even dare to exist in dreams. Voulhire became vulnerable and fragile under the invasion of the Riva Rohavi and the Emperor of Lullabies. Hillport and Soulhire are testimonies before us. Will Voulhire overcome this chaos?
We are Voulhire: The Flesh of the Mind is the sixth book of We are Voulhire series written by Matthew Tysz. It is the story of Voulhire. It is developed through internal and external disturbances in Voulhire. The Emperor of Lullabies invaded Voulhire. It’s unclear what the Emperor wanted from Voulhire. It’s believed that Voulhire was weakened by the war against the Riva.
Everything seemed normal, but this forced normalcy couldn’t hide the fact that the cities were terrified. The people have been through a lot. The painful nightmares that parted them from their beloved ones are still out there. Voulhire has changed a lot. The Mianora was replaced by the Chaletherians. Midius Maido, who was believed to be escaped, wishes to outshine the Chaletherians. This goal is going to take time. Rowan and Demetrius went to Diamora to see Maido and his school. There’s some hidden purpose behind this visit. At this time, Galen, who was believed to be dead, was trapped in Caromentis. Will he find his way back? Meldorath was asked by his hero, king Javikun, to leave the Caromentis. Will he leave? Who is going to save the Voulhire from this abyss?
From the beginning to the end, this book is worth reading. It is an exquisitely written story. I recommend reading the previous books in this series to understand the plot. Otherwise, it’s hard to digest the story. The character development was very slow. It made me eager to read more. The storyline was captivating. The author gave each character the chance to describe the story from their own perspectives. It made the story very different and special.
I’m glad to say that this book lives up to it's every promise. The title is a catchy one. It hints the extraordinary things that are going to happen in the story. I like the beginning of this book. It explains that the beautiful and the bright morning have no more right to do anything with the lives there. Voulhire now is in the most dangerous time of its history.
My favourite character is Galen. He is a gentle person with a special warmth. I enjoyed his relationship with Rowan and Demetrius. When they come to know that he is dead, they were dead inside. Demetrius couldn’t even keep himself calm. I could feel their emotions well. This is the part that I like the most.
There were no page numbers in this book. It made me a little disappointed. Other than this, there’s nothing that I dislike about this book. I also like the character development of Meldorath. I was aware of his strong aura throughout the story. I was afraid of him sometimes. This is an absorbing novel. It is of the fiction genre. I am amazed down to the last line. I strongly believe that this book won’t disappoint the readers.
I’m rating it 4 out of 4. I enjoyed reading it. I think it's professionally edited. I didn’t come across any errors and erotic scenes. There was a minor profanity seen. Overall, it’s an excellent read. I recommend it to everyone. Children can avoid going for this, because it contains scary battles. I love this book, and this is my favourite series. This will be a special book for the lovers of fiction. Go for it.
