I give How To Be Successful by M. Curtis McCoy 4 out of 4 stars and highly recommend you read it if you're now getting started in business, want to grow your business or, generally, want to be a decent human being. The teachings in this book could easily be cut and paste into one's lifestyle for great improvement.

M. Curtis McCoy talks about the blog he started in 2015 to help people struggling in life. He started the blog as a hobby to help entrepreneurs in their free time with whatever struggles they're encountering on their journey. He realized that the little blog he started could really help people when he received a call from someone who was seriously thinking about committing suicide. This person felt like a failure. This tiny blog inspired this person to call M. Curtis McCoy and he was able to talk this person out of ending their life. That made M. Curtis McCoy realize that the blog could be more than a hobby.

M. Curtis McCoy interviewed athletes, investors, entrepreneurs, preachers and the like. He mixed the interviews with life lessons in hope of creating something to spark a drive in readers. A spark to light the fuse.

This book won't just benefit those starting or growing their business, but it could help those on the journey of life. It has great advice like building a business that provides a solution to a problem. Not making temporary discomfort dissuade you. Keeping your eyes open for present opportunities and being prepared for them. Not taking ownership of misfortunes, not defining yourself by whatever issues you are currently going through. This book will teach you to count your blessings, not to compare yourself to others, practicing delayed gratification, rewarding yourself and a few others. This book also contains a few tricks on becoming an "Overnight success".

There are several interviews in this book. M. Curtis McCoy interviews with questions like "What is your definition of success?", "When did you consider yourself a success?", "What steps do you take daily to improve?", "What have you recognized as your greatest strengths, and how have they impacted your success?" and records the interviewee's answers in the book. A few of the interviewees are Connie Wyatt (CMO of Best Cellular), Eric Payne (Venture Advocates), Nathan Schulhof (Father of the MP3 Player) and a few more.

I gave How To Be Successful 4 out of 4 stars because it is well written, well edited and well to read and M. Curtis McCoy is one hell of an author.
