Review by King Caravan -- Manifesto for a Cancer Patient
Almost everyone seems surprised at the diagnosis of cancer, with abrupt changes in status from freely independent thinkers to suddenly cast in scripted institutional theater, cast in an unwanted role, unable to assert choices as before, and having individual’s preferences challenged by others.
Manifesto for a Cancer Patient is a non-fiction book written by Colleen Huber, NMD. The author is an experienced Naturopathic Medical Doctor, who treats cancer with intravenous nutrients, exercise reports to have had better success compared to the conventional oncology clinics.
Chapters 7 and 8 will tell you the extraordinarily high success rate against cancers in human beings was achieved with natural treatments, primarily intravenous nutrients, and dietary intervention.
What choices do cancer patients have? In the late aught, in the US, there were only two options available to the cancer patients; Follow precisely the instructions of the chemotherapy oncologist and, do it without protest, though you may try dietary and supplementary recommendations to help you tolerate your chemotherapy better.
Chemotherapy oncologists often proceed to tell a newly discovered cancer patient that, chemotherapy and radiation are the only options available for the patient, and go on discouraging most patients from natural treatments. This is wrong because the patient should be allowed to take time to look into alternative treatments, the chance to get a second opinion from a different doctor, and the opportunity to think about how to proceed. Human beings are of free will and sovereignty regarding their health and decisions about it. It is the right of all physicians to discuss various alternatives for appropriate treatments with their patients from both conventional and natural medicine and honor patient choices in their health care, with respect, deed, and behavior, and to present treatment choices without coercion, threats or misinformation.
Cancer patients with their survival at imminent risk do not need fussy pretensions and business as usual practices and dogma of inadequate cancer treatment. They need something to work for them correctly; placing their trust on Colleen Huber will have their lives saved.
The author calls upon the attention of the reader to re-examine the data provided in the book and determine what further lessons lay within the figures. This effort will see us move forward productively in the best possible direction. The author recommends the diet of cancer patients do not contain sweeteners other than stevia. There’s the use of first-person narration and a colorful language, so you don’t worry, you’ll certainly harness the author’s message.
This is a must-read book. The content covered is vital and could save many lives. The fight against cancer requires public awareness, and the knowledge we need is in this novel. The book is pleasing to cancer patients. It will help them fight the disease and will twist their brains to think positively and gain the independence they need. Health workers would also find the book appealing for the secrets it carries which would lead to valuable discoveries in the medical fields. The book is professionally edited and I, therefore, rate it 4 out of 4 stars . Manifesto for a Cancer Patient is a great work, kudos to Colleen, and may she find more favor to keep educating the public on health matters.
