As a young adult book, readers might find it gory and horrific to imagine and take in as the story unfold. The Yellow Beard & The Curse Of The Bloodline is a story about the mission of Yellow Beard, a powerful Cherokee ghost or entity that is unstoppable in his cleansing or killing of the bloodline of those who murdered his ancestors during the Trail of Tears. You will be able to hear the stories of people related to the bloodline and the thoughts and feelings of Yellow Beard himself.

What I liked about this book was that it speaks to horror fans and sometimes you find yourself intrigued with whether all this is true or based on real events. It makes you question the paranormal and aliens. I also liked how you can read about each person or family’s life and their own character. What I didn’t like was how it felt like this whole mission of Yellow Beard will not end so you can eventually find yourself predicting the outcome or fate of each person or individuals. But another thing I liked was being able to be a bit surprised about the references, outcomes, or certain chapters that were quite interesting.

I would rate this book as a 3 out of 4 stars, because this is a good horror and supernatural book but as a whole it was not captivating enough to be considered a 4 out of 4. It was not a 2 because it did not suck enough.

I would recommend this book by Lawrence V. Webster to some adults who just want a simple worded and gruesome, gory book and to young adults that can stomach the horror details of the story. I would never recommend this for kids or those for middle schoolers even, because some of the things in Yellow Beard & The Curse Of The Bloodline will definitely be too haunting and traumatizing.

The book did not have much errors. One that I took notice of was in Chapter 2, page 26, the “They” should have been “The”.
