Without Redemption by David Griffith is an adventurous but yet inspirational book. I believe that this book would suit both teenagers and older people. The book is definitely worth your time and it is something that would be good to read on a plane or while on a day trip.

Without Redemption is about a young Indian man whose career as a roughstock rider comes to an end because of an injury. Now that he cannot support his family, one of his close friends offer him a job. This job offer entails that he meets with one of the most powerful leaders of a drug cartel to establish a deal. To the protagonists surprise a man from the drug cartel is sent to spy on him from the time his plane landed and from there things only go south.

There are both elements I like and dislike about this book. Starting with the likable elements, this book is a conglomerate of genres. It has action, romance, and adventure. This book's plot almost seems like something you would see on CIS or Law and Order. Another element I like is that some of the words are in Spanish; not to the point that you can't read it, but they are words that are inferable. As for the elements that I disliked, there is only one thing and that is the fact that the meat of the book is pretty boring. There are some moments where it seems like something interesting will happen, but to my disappointment that was not the case. In my opinion, the climax of the book or the most interesting part of the book is at the end. So no, the statement I made earlier about it having action and adventure is not contradictory.

So, with this being said, I would rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. I gave the book this rating because it contains action, romance, and adventure. I also gave it this rating because there are little to no spelling errors. I did not give it a 2 out of 4 rating because I felt like it was way to low for a book like this. This book is definitely above average. At the same time I did not give it a perfect 4 out of 4 rating because as mentioned there are little to no spelling errors and because of the lack of action in the middle of the book.
