John Thurgood Thomas or JT as his acquaintances called him, the protagonist of the story, is the epitome of courage, bravery, Ideologist and all the good words that one usually refer to as of a gentleman's. The story revolves around the protagonist as how he rescued the four women - Annabelle, Emily, Dawn and Jean from the captivity of some bank robbers. He offers them food and shelter as they had nowhere to go and were not in the situation to be left behind. Annabelle is a nurse by occupation with Emily as her assistant and Dawn and Jean are just another victims. As the story progresses, JT learns that Jean is not the victim but the main culprit and reason for the captivity of the other women. The book leaves the readers with many questions such as who is Jean? And what does she want? The story further progresses with many wonderful adventures and up and downs of JT and Annabelle growing yet beautiful friendship alongside with the hunting of Jean.
" Love for one. Hate for none." It's one of the driving force in the book "Rescued" written by E. Alan Fleischauer. The book provides a thorough depiction of rural areas and beautiful plains as well as the psychological effects of trauma. The descriptions are cleverly woven in a dialogue based story rather than as a separate component of the text. Allowing the readers for a captivating reading experience that focuses on the emotions of the characters.
While the story goes on with the protagonist, readers come to an introduction with various characters each one having a different yet very inspiring stories of their own.The dynamic characters are the dimension of bravery to the plot line as they reflect and interact with their stories, each one having a inspiring and brave tale to tell.
The plot has the perfect amount of the complexity and curiosity. Although it has some violent content which would not be suitable for the young readers below the age of 13. There is nothing about this book which I did not like. It is of ideal length and has a fulfilling balance of plot and characterization. It is also professionally edited;very few errors were noted. For the excellent use of research and work, I will give "Rescued " 3 out of 4 stars.
I recommend this book to all the readers. Although it is a non fiction, all genres readers will find it amusing, sometimes funny and the story appealing. It should be noted that there are some violence associated with some act. All other readers will enjoy this novel which evokes emotions on many levels.
