This book Devil in False Colors,by Jack Winnick, can really grab the reader's attention. It takes what we have heard on the evening news and goes one step further to give the reader details we would not hear on the news. Even though it is fiction, Winnick writes it as if the reader is right there in the pages. This book is so well written, it could very well be all true.

As well as being a thrilling, action packed adventure, there is a great chemistry between the two main characters, Lara the FBI agent and Uri, a Mossad assassin. Together and apart they tackle the people that are murdering Jewish children in the U.S. I have read the first two books in this series and have enjoyed them all, but this book intrigued me more due to the fact that it shows even the best hero's can make mistakes. He shows they are human but not perfect. Their hearts and minds are in the right place though and that makes it all the more interesting. I found myself holding my breathe a few times when things went wrong.

Winnick does such a great job on this book I had to keep reminding myself it is fiction. There are so many details into the character's of the "bad" guys and how they plan to pull off hurting the Jewish people. Although it seems at first the book is pro-Israel, it is not anti-Islam. Winnick does a great job of making sure the reader knows the difference between the Islamic terrorists and the peaceful Islamic people.

I give this book 4 out of 4 stars because of the clever way it is written. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys a great thriller, action packed adventurous book with the great details of how things can really be in today's world. If I had to choose something I didn't care for it would be how the children were killed but with the way the book is written I understand why it had to be that way.

After reading these books, I believe for me personally for as much as I enjoyed reading them, I do not believe I would like seeing them made into movies. They captured my interest so much and made me feel as part of the book, but seeing the gory details on screen would not appeal to me. I do however look forward to reading the next book in this series. Thank you Mr. Winnick for such enjoyable reading material that enlightens so much about the world we may not otherwise know about.
