Vera Koo, the author of the book The Most Unlikely Champion, conveys the importance of perseverance and other positive attributes towards achieving life goals in all odds of life with her personal life experiences.
She was born and raised in Hong Kong, in a Chinese family with traditional conservative values, but the family immigrated to the United States while she was just at age 12, in search of greener pastures. Though at her early age she was taught a woman's place is to serve family and home, but she was used to

The characters in the book portray a flashback of her childhood, how she met Carlos her life partner, how building their family looks like raising up their 3 children Christina, Shane and Austin the only son. Though she gave birth to a baby boy "Bryan" and loses him after 6 months; one of the problems she finds excruciating and later overcame.

The story is easy to follow and doesn't contain any sexual character, it is good for anyone to read and it contained in its good moral values and have the tendency to change the change reader's view to every odds of life, how Vera's fierce personality and perseverance have both helped her to cope with challenging times in the family and her shooting sport, which later turned to be her career makes the book worth exploring.

I only found view grammatical and typographical errors, which was not too conspicuous and neither change the meaning and values in the book. Overall, I will recommend the book to as many still aspiring for greatness and I rate the book 3 out of 4 stars.
