The Dark Web Murders by Brian O’Hare is a murder mystery book about a daring murderer who kills his victims and explains away his reasoning for the murders and their gory details online. To the detectives assigned on the case and their leader Detective Sheehan, it is an ten-day journey of trying to solve the web murders. It takes them some time to catch up with the murderer who is nearly not as far.

I must say, the flair to connect the murders with such a deep online presence is a clever way to connect with the readers because in the world we live today, the web is part of us. The web provides the avenues to engage in all sorts of activities. It is a pivotal theme here that helps the writer to unfold the thoughts on the killings. It also give the reader a front seat as to how the murders are planned and executed.

The writer decided to put a list of the book characters which was of immense help as it allows you to know them that much more deeply. You will found yourself understanding better what personal characteristics play into the story.

It is impressive of the writer to give the lead detective the extra instinct in order to look for the “little details’’ as he later says while keeping out the reader and his fellow detectives out of his mind until it all comes together correctly and factually. The suspense is real here.

The book is expertly and impressively edited with a lot of interesting vocabulary and facts which I thoroughly enjoyed. I give it a 4 out 4 stars. It is an easy to read and captivating book that will satisfy your murder mystery tastes as well as open you up to the never-ending possibilities of current deviant societal behavior and their connection to the web.
I would recommend this book to all thrill-seekers and lovers of mystery. Certainly, forbearance is needed to actually read on without spoilers. The end is absolutely funny and mind-blowing at the same time.

Get ready to dive in to the world of the rich and famous and their terrible secrets. How one individual is ready to atone for a misdeed in the most callous way while reaching out to your soul not for understanding but purely to fuel his own arrogance. You will not regret going on this journey into the Dark Web Murders.
