The book Echoland is a book I would recommend to others. It is a magical adventure, and it pulls you in like your there. Though in some instances it was a little confusing as to who the author was talking about. Also it seemed like problems appeared and disappeared to fast. The content itself was good and very enjoyable. But it might have been better if the story did not feel rushed in parts. Where the resolution came a bit to fast. I loved the characters and their pets. I wish we found out who Emmy’s pet was. The story line has lots of wonderful ideas and played out well. I would give this book a 3 out of 4. I really enjoyed this book but like I said there were some issues that I felt hurt the quality of the book. Like when the author talks about Peter and Will’s interactions she sometimes mixes up who she’s talking about which makes it a bit confusing. And with the climax I feel it happens to quick and the resolution comes to quickly. It may have been better to do two books with more content. The title of the book is interesting, and fits the storyline perfectly. There is no use of profanity which is great, so any age can read it. I wish she would have talked more about shadow pain, they talked enough about it that we know that it’s a bad place, but not much more than that.
