Heartaches 3: Bad Boys Vibes by H.M. Irwing is a nail-biter that will keep you up all night. This is a third installment in this outstanding series. The novel delves into the story of the main characters, Ann Simmons, a student at a vocational college and Rafe Luis Brown, a solder who just made it back from Syria.

The duo had suffered dreadful ordeals in the past. Ann is a rape victim, and Rafe had also suffered his own part of ordeal. They are both trying to develop their relationship amidst difficulties and evil forces of the Earth--trying to set them apart. Ann is full of ire and determined to revenge on her oppressors.

On the other hand, Suzi and Aunt Bella are also suffering their own portion of heartache. Rafe is also not left behind, he is also onslaughting a plan to revenge on the king of evils--Eric Dayton. Will all these revenge plans succeed? Will Race and Ann have a lasting relationship? You will have to read for yourself.

When I picked this book for review, I knew that it was merely based on steamy scenes. However, it turned to be more than what my prediction was. This novel gives sight on how to go about our ordeals without losing ourselves in the process. It is about building trust in a relationship. The author have involved a lot of real life experience that the reader may like to know about. Do not be scared by the cover photo. The reality is, there are sexual graphic scenes and erotic scenes, however, they are not much to scare the reader.

There are a few outstanding things I discovered while reading this well-written romantic tryst, that I would like to echo. First and fore most the storyline of this novel was well-thought of and enveloped in a good-paced plot. Again, most of the characters were real and relatable. The characters were well developed.

This third volume wrapped so well the stories told in the other earlier two novels in this series. The author has maintained her ability in provoking all the emotions of the reader. I can say this last book in this trilogy has made one best novels ever in romance genres I have ever read.

Overall this wraps up the entire series well, giving a happy ending for previously gloomy faces. Despite the fact that I had read the first two installments in this series, Heartaches 3: Bad Boys Vibes would still work as a stand-alone novel.

The author provided synopsis and prologue which was just enough to make the reader have a hint of the foundation of this story. Among the three volumes, I can say that this third volume was just interesting as the first one. Themes of revenge, Drug trafficking and gay marriage have also been involved in this book.

I can therefore confidently go ahead and rate a 4 out of 4 stars. This is a perfect read for everyone who likes good love story with twists of plot. However, it is in order to also caution readers that this book involves sexual scenes and amatory contents not good for children. Senior teenagers and young adults may find this book very relevant to them. If you are the type who is not interested in steamy reads, then this is not for you.
