Addiction is painful, and so is overcoming it. How will Aleisha pick her poison? The ending can go either way. It could become another Requiem for a Dream or something more hopeful. This book got me hooked (in a good way)!
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:

This seems like a sad but interesting book. I love it when authors pull there real-life experiences into a story as it makes the story seem more genuine. This is a difficult subject to talk about and do well but your review makes it seem like the author handles this topic delicately and professionally. This is a great review that covers the themes of the story! This isn't the type of book I would typically read but if I come across it your review made me want to give it a chance

I love that Keith Julius brings attention to the CASA program and the critical role volunteer advocates play in protecting children. The fact that the author’s background is in children’s services makes the book credible. thank you for the great review.

This review gives an impression of a fascinating book with content that will educate people about heroin addiction and how it affects families. The work of the volunteer advocates sounds of great value, I didn't know they had this service across the USA. The way the book approaches this subject makes it appear well worth reading.
