Ghoulem Berrah is a wonderful role model for activism and peace. His book has much to teach and the ability to inspire many. Thank you for the nicely written summary and for sharing your opinions.

A Dream for Peace is a replica of what a country should be. Patriotism should be the order of the day. Dr. Berrah is a hero and a person one can look up to.

I like this book, especially his love life is enticing to me. I love his love for peace and all he has done to ensure peace reign in the middle East.
You are yet to be the best version of yourself. Keep refining.

One of the things I loved about this book was the information and knowledge I gained from reading it. There were so many things I learned. One is about the effect of China's population control from the citizens' point of view. According to the author, "The Chinese government had instituted a law banning couples from having more than one child. Hence, those who did not use contraceptives found themselves aborting baby girls until a boy was born. " At that point, I felt a lot of pity for these people. Going through several abortions couldn't be easy. However, good things come at a cost. China was already overpopulated; without the ban, life would have been worse for them.
I love how open-minded this reflection is! One can easily see this control as borderline fascist, but I love how you presented the good and the bad of this reality. It takes an analytical, open mind to do so.
I'm quite the history lover, and before your review, I had a boring impression of this book, but I'll check it out. Thanks!

Dr. Ghoulem's dream for peace is one to admire and appreciate. He did a lot in the areas he could perform but sometimes some things feel unachievable. This book holds his journey is accomplishing a dream that seems impossible to accomplish. Nice review.

This book is highly intellectual and also interactive. It tells the story of Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, but it says a lot about the way things work all over the world.

This is a lengthy but admirable book. I find it commendable how the author was persistent in his fight for freedom and peace for his country. This is a well-detailed review and I enjoyed reading it.

Although the review was beautifully written, I will have to give it a pass. I do like memoirs but I don't think this one is for me.

What you said about China's population control measure got me saddened. Was there no way to have made it less destructive for the citizens? Aborting babies till one gets a gender that they are looking for will for sure take a toll on the women.
Thank you for the information you provided in this review. I really enjoyed reading it.

I don't quite like reading a lengthy book especially when it is in the nonfiction genre. This book by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is one that teaches a lot of things, according to the reviews of it that I have read. However, I might just pass it by because of the length.

What does peace mean to any of us? What can we do to achieve it? This is Ghoulem's story for peace and it's really uplifting. It was to know that there are still good people around. Nice review.
