Cover for CBD Made Easy!

The First Ten Focus Group Feedback for CBD Made Easy!

Because CBD Made Easy! was Book of the Day, some of our most trusted members have carefully looked over the cover, the description, and other aspects of this book as a part of purchase-intent focus group. We then asked each participant in the focus group if they planned to buy and read the book, and why they planned to buy and read the book or not. Their answer to that question and reasons are displayed below. We call this awesome feature The First Ten Focus Group.

Keep in mind, the responses from the members are not reviews. This is purchase-intent focus group which means the participants are people who have NOT yet bought or read your book. A purchase-intent focus group is an important and extremely useful marketing tool for any product, not just books. For other products, you might walk on the street and show people an item in a package and poll them about whether they would buy if or $X or not. These kind of focus groups are one of the ways big marketing companies find the ideal price points for products and test the effectiveness of different packaging. The focus group can help you identify your market so you how to target ads of your book, and it can (but may not) provide you new useful info about your "packaging" (e.g. your book cover, your book synopsis on Amazon, etc.). The point of the focus group comments is to give you information from people who have not bought or read your book about why they plan to buy your book which will help you in marketing the book. These are not reviews or critiques of your book because they are not from people have read the book. This is a marketing tool, not reviews. The trick of book marketing and book advertising is that you have to convince people who have not read your book yet that your book is worth buying and reading. For marketing, it doesn't matter much if people love your book after reading it if you cannot convince potential buyers before they read it that they will love it.

IMPORTANT: Any score over 10% is considered very good. And any score above 0% is acceptable. This is because we only poll about 20 or so readers, and all readers have to say "no" to almost all books. Over a million books are published each year. Even a very active reader cannot come close to even reading 1% of books out there.

This is also why publishing books is such a tough industry.

Based on the cover of the book I was interested. Medical marijuana is something I think is legitimate but is abused by many. The sample of the book let me know the author knows what they are taking about and I would love to finish the book. I didn't see any errors in the sample.

When I first see the cover, I think that this book is going to be about science and maybe marijuana. I would think that I will not be reading this book because it doesn't seem like I would be interested in this book. I will be reading this book because the first ten pages were organized well, and it gave you a lot of facts, not just rabbling on. It even gives you the questions, then the answers to help you learn. It seems professionally edited. I did not see a review, and I don't think that would've affected my decision.

I would have sampled this book based on the genre, blurb, OBC review, title and cover. It's a topic I'm interested in. After reading the first ten pages, I won't be finishing this book. Everything I read in the sample was information that I already knew. Also, the sample I read on Amazon didn't have a good format. Other than that, it did seem to be professionally edited.

I think this cover looks professional and the writing sounds professional. I would not have picked this book up on my own since I do not have an interest in medical information. I like the cover because it's perfect for what the book is about. I don't however think this is for me. I do think that people who know someone or are currently experiencing chronic pain would be a great audience for this book. This seems to be very informative for how cannabis is used and how pain relief works for those who use it. However, I don't really find this to be my cup of tea.

Because of the subject of this book i will not buy it simply because i don't really need it. Objectively the cover is well designed - it shows that the book is serious in providing scientific research and it's very clear in its purpose. The sample is also very clearly written. i did not notice any typos or grammar errors. the terms are very well explained. I will not read the rest of the book because i don't need it but i think it would make a good resource for those who are interested.

At first glance this is not something that would particularly interest me and was it not for this program, I wouldn't have read a sample. After reading a sample, I felt very informed and confident that this would be helpful to persons looking to use CBD for pain relief or other benefits. I found the information to be presented in a clear and concise manner, easily understood and processed. I am not however interested in reading the full book.

'CBD Made Easy!' is not a book that piques my interest. Although medical marijuana is a hot topic, it's not one I'm interested in reading about. That being said, I would not have chosen to purchase this book prior to sampling it for this program. After sampling the first ten pages, I found some positive aspects with the book. The language used is easy to understand, and it appears that the content is well researched. However, the topic still does not interest me, so I will not be reading any further.

My initial thought about this book is that it's not for me. I believe the majority of consumers for this book will be those who have chronic medical issues and are tying to learn about different treatment options that can help them. Because I don't fall into that category, I'm not sure what I would get out of this book. I found the first ten pages to be very informative and well-written. The science parts are explained in a way that is easy to understand and not overwhelming for the reader. I would recommend this book for those looking for more information about CBD, however it still isn't a book for me personally.

I like the bright lime and white colors on the cover, but the layout looks too much like a textbook. The summary blurb appears to be edited well and gives a good explanation of the book. The beginning pages are formatted so that the content has a smooth flow. That being said, I am not planning to buy the book based on my reading preferences.

I wouldn't have sampled this book as I'm not affected by any of the illnesses mentioned. However, when I read the first ten pages I realized that I do know people with some of the conditions that CBD may be helpful in addressing. I won't read it now though as it's not top priority. This doesn't seem to have been professionally edited. Errors I found include: "the patient and their families", "understanding on", "How you ask", and "the cells response". There was inconsistent spelling in that I found both "tumor" and "tumour". I liked the author's responsible attitude to the need to consult health professionals before embarking on any treatment, as well as the simple explanations and eye-catching diagrams. It was a shame about the mistakes, especially as this received a 4-star OnlineBookClub rating.

This is a book in the non-fiction genre. It explains the latest research and usage of CBD. Though on the face of it is seems like a booklet that is accessible only to people who understand medical/scientific jargon, the author has actually kept ordinary audiences in mind, and simplified the language for them. The description and review of the booklet, are pretty crisp, and help in understanding what the booklet is about. From the sample, it is evident that the book is very informative, however, since I'm not really invested in the subject matter, I think I would skip this one.

The cover does a good job of describing what the book is all about. The amazon review supports what the cover indicates. Reading the first pages shows that you are promoting the use of a plant extract not smoking to get high and forget about your problems. This looks like it would be useful to someone with one of the mentioned conditions. I believe that use of the extract is illegal in my state. Since I do not have any of the illnesses listed I do not plan to buy the book and read it. The official review supports that it would be a good book for its intended audience. I saw no editorial errors in the first ten pages.

Based on the cover and title I thought that this would be an interesting book, but that I wouldn't probably read it because I don't like non-fiction and I have a hard time getting through informational books. I figured the same thing based on the reviews. Upon reading the first ten pages I can see that my original prediction is correct; it's interesting, but it's boring. I think the cover resembles a text book. At first glance I did not know what CBD was so I probably would not have paid it much attention. After discovering it was the term given for medicinal cannabis it made more sense. The review made this book sound promising for both the lay person and health practitioners alike. I like the fact that it explains how it works, the conditions it has shown to benefit so far, and that this medicine is made from a different component of cannabis and not the addictive THC part which causes the 'high'. I would not have purchased this book, however, as I have a sound knowledge of the use of medical cannabis and its benefits. After initially reading the sample I thought it was an easy read, but I work in the health industry and have a sound knowledge of medical terminology. I re-read the sample as if I was less familiar with these terms and found the language to be quite technical. I was left wondering just how many lay people would understand terms like 'non-psychoactive'. I will not be reading the rest of this book as it is not an area that I need further information on at present.

I enjoy following cutting edge science, so I've known about this for awhile. This is a nice, comprehensive guide for those who are unaware of it.

I had no idea what the title was about until I read the sample. I didn't know anything about THC vs CBD, in spite of having stoner friends. I know cannabis has been growing naturally for hundreds of years; I have my doubts that CBD is as good and side-effect free as the author says it is. I'm sure it has some God benefits, though.

This is not a booklet I would have picked out. It's not a subject that interests me, but the review was very positive and I know this is a cutting-edge science. The writing was adequate--probably above average for this kind of informational packet. I agreed with the review that the illustrations were interesting. I didn't see any errors that jumped out, so it seemed professionally edited. Ultimately, though, I didn't find anything special in the little that I read to suggest it would be worth my while to continue reading.

After reading a sample of, CBD Made Easy!, by Mary Minchin, I have decided that I will not be purchasing this book. The cover gave me a hint that this was a non-fiction book, and I tend to lean away from non-fiction. I find this book to be very insightful, informative and engaging. I strongly believe that many will find this book to be a must-read for them. I like how the author breaks down the chapters so concisely. You get small bites of information, and that's easier to process. Based on what I have read this book appears to be professionally edited. This book does have an official OnlineBookClub review. The Onlinebookclub review was very complementary and interesting, but it further outlined that this just isn't a book for me. Had I not read the first ten pages as a part of this program, I probably would have read this book because I have a son who has an autoimmune disease. I belong to a mother's group who have children with special needs and I have heard a lot of positive feedback about the effects of CBD Oil on their children. Some of these children are severely disabled. I think the book cover is okay, not great. I think another design may be more effective. I read the review on OnlineBookClub.org and it was very favorable, written by a person with fibromyalgia. She discussed her interest in the study of CBD and its effects on people like her trying to cope with her disease. After reading the sample, I did not find any technical or grammatical mistakes. I thought the layout was good and I liked the writer's tone - simple and informative without being pretentious. I will probably finish reading this book at some point.

Cannabis plant, commonly known as marijuana, contains both THC and CBD. CBD or cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive compound which has health benefits. I've always been skeptical of people who smoke pot to reduce pain or feel better, but at the same time I never judged those who have genuine medical marijuana. It was interesting to read some about CBD and how/why it works. The bit in the sample about accidentally finding out our bodies have an "Endocannabinoid System" is definitely interesting, and the concept of using CBD oil instead of just cannabis is far more appealing in my opinion. While I wish there were links to the studies in the writing itself, there is a "List of Studies" in the "Referenced studies" table of contents listing. I don't see buying the book as I have no use for it (yet!) but I can see people getting some use out of it.

This book would not have honestly caught my eye, mainly because I don't usually peruse medical journals. However, after brief insight, and understanding the distance that CBD can go, including help cure alzheimers and diabetes, I became thoroughly interested, as I had gestational diabetes during my pregnancy and am now predisposed to developing full blown type 2 diabetes if I do not manage my diet and exercise properly. After actually reading the sample, I realised the cover fits the journal, and the information is well researched so it is definitely deserving of a second glance. The review at OBC reiterated that. However there was a sentence in the sample that needed some restructuring- it was the first page in "what are the health benefits", fourth paragraph down, last sentence. Apart from that, everything else seemed well edited, and very informative. I like that the author took the time to give a wide overview of what CBD can help with, so the reader can glean from early on thw wealth of information that will be put forward and know from then whether the book will be pertinent to him or her. It definitely interested me, and I look forward to purchasing a copy and reading on.

I would not have sampled this book outside of the program. I have very little interest in both non-fiction books regarding medicinal studies (unless they are applicable to something I suffer from) because, well, it's just not really my thing. The Official Review was glowing, but it didn't particularly tell me anything I couldn't have guessed from the blurb, cover and title. I won't be buying the book for the reasons I listed above. At first glance, my reaction was: what is CBD? There was a clear reference to medical marijuana in the picture, though, which did offer a broad indication about where the book was going. Reading through the sample, I noticed that the text was written in a clear, accessible way. There was one illustration already, and the introduction promised links and references to real studies in the following text. If I were trying to learn more about the subject, this might be a good introduction. However, since it isn't really a topic of interest to me, I'm not planning to purchase the book today.

IMPORTANT: Any score over 10% is considered very good. And any score above 0% is acceptable.

Over a million books are published each year. Any given person could not even read .0001% of the books out there. This means readers have to be very selective. Even taking the time to look over reviews and blurbs, let alone read samples, is more time than most readers can afford for most books. The First Ten is a powerful focus group that addresses those issues. It creates a helpful tool for authors, publishers, and other readers.
