Hello, My Love by Evy Journey is a contemporary romance novel. Elise Halverson and Greg Thorpe are the main characters of the story.

Elise Halverson is a young and a captivating law student. She is an active and outspoken girl. She is career oriented and distrustful of men. On the other hand, Greg is one of the most eligible bachelors and is considered to be a playboy. Greg falls in love with Elise at first sight. He comes to her home to meet her father for some help in business. His meetings with Elise’s father become more frequent with the passage of time. At first, Elise is reluctant to break her shell and become friends with Greg but, eventually, she starts liking him.

One night before Greg’s marriage, Elise and Greg spend a night together, and Greg confesses his feelings for Elise. The next day, Greg decides to break his engagement with his fiancé, Lori, and prove his love for Elise. When Lori comes to know about Greg’s decision, she threatens him that she would destroy him and the girl she loves. To save Elise from Lori’s rage, Greg decides that she would stay away from her.

Would Greg be able to save Elise from Lori? Would Elise and Greg come together and live their lives happily together?

Hello, My Love is an excellent read. It tells about the feelings and the problems faced by a person in this modern world, like hatred, love, abortion, etc. I enjoyed reading it. All the characters in this book are solid which gives depth to the story. Elise’s character is my favorite. She is a very strong girl. When she learns about her pregnancy, she decides to give birth to her baby and raise him without a father. She gathers all her courage to tell that news to her parents and ask for their help. She is a courageous girl. She does not step back from her duties even when she gets threats from her enemies.

The author has beautifully depicted parent’s love in this book. When Elise’s parents come to know about her pregnancy, they decide to help her no matter what. They stand beside her always and support her. Their love gave her strength and courage. Also, friendship is shown very well by Evy Journey. Elise’s friend always stands by her and gives her strength in her difficult times.

The plot of this book has twists and turns which makes it very interesting. I got hooked towards the story. I would give it 3 out of 4 stars. Some scenes lacked depth. The scene in which, Greg tells about his feelings of love to Elise for the first time seems incomplete. It could have been more detailed. Further, the scene in which Greg meets his son for the first time lacks depth. It appeared that the author was rushing those scenes.

I did not find any significant grammatical errors and spelling mistakes in this book. Moreover, the language of this novel is very easy to read and understand. The plot and story seems professionally edited, and I would recommend Hello, My Love to all the people who like to read romance novels. It is a quick read and can be read during a journey or on the weekend.

I've never liked romantic stories. Especially from female writers, their perspective usually leaves the male part of the story wanting. Thanks for a great review.

I like quick reads and will definitely look for this one. The story line sounds interesting even though some parts were shallow. Nice review.

This is a really nice review! This doesn't sound like the kind of book I would enjoy though.

This story seems to have all the elements for a cute romance... The guy about to get married finds the love of his life, yet they cannot be together because of the ex-fiancé. It sounds as a cliche. I'm glad you enjoyed the story! Thanks for the review!

Thanks for your excellent review. I also admired the author for presenting Elise as keeping the baby. Nice work!
