[Following is a volunteer review of "Final Act" by Van Fleisher.]
The Final Act is a thriller book with a dash of romance and action . Hats off to the author (Van Fleisher) who gave us this amazing body of work. This book is a continuation of the Final Notice and the author didn't waste any time as there was action right from chapter one. We witnessed three deaths (two hideous murders),minor profanity and a heartbreaking rape scene. Vijay Patel was looking to work with the FBI as his invention was doing the opposite of what he intended it for. Better yet,he was looking to improve it as Final Notice recipients were killing people. A foreign gang was causing most of the killings because elections were close. Their plan was to kill "high status" politicians and it was working well as the main person behind the killings got to meet with the Boss of the gang. Mr Patel helped the FBI counter the killings and track who is behind the killings through the information he was providing. The FBI were able to catch the trouble makers but not all of them. It took the FBI a while to catch them because they were dealing with professionals who knew what they were doing. Mr Patel got a happy ending, as well the FBI and the people who were working at VitalTech. Personally, I like action packed movies and this book didn't disappoint. It incorporated everything that's happening in today's world. The gun violence, politics, gender based abuse and homosexuality. It's so relatable and intriguing, makes you wanna finish the book to know how it ends. What I don't like about the book is that some scenes were too explicit or vivid. I rate this book four out of five stars because I love action packed movies and romance. And my father was a politician, so I know a bit about politics and that made the book to be interesting. I would recommend this to people who love action, guns, politics and romance but I wouldn't recommend it to people younger than 18 because some of these scenes were too explicit
