The 11:05 Murders by Brian O'Hare is a crime thriller novel. The book was published by Crimson Cloak Publishing. It is the second book in the Inspector Sheehan Mysteries series but it can be easily read alone. This entire story was written in the perspective of the detectives. At the beginning of the story, a beautiful young girl is sexually assaulted by three boys at a college party twelve years ago. Her friend has been physically assaulted and locked in the cupboard. We don’t know what happened to her after that.

The scene then progresses to introduce about Detective Sergeant Denise Stewart. She is a rookie in the Serious Crimes Department lead by Chief Inspector Jim Sheehan in the town of Belfast. Her new colleagues, notably Detective Tom Allen and others were supportive to her. Soon the story begins to pick up speed when men start getting murdered. She starts working with her colleagues on solving a murder. The first murder takes place on Tuesday night and the murderer stops the victim’s watch exactly on 11:05. A secret informant contacts Stewart giving her clues about the murder. They found the list of suspects, and they were close to the conclusion.

But before detectives identify the murderer, the second murder takes place in the same way on the next Tuesday night at 11:05 p.m. It becomes as the case’s turning point and the case takes the entire different turn. Now the case gets more complicated when they observed the sequence between these two murders. More number of questions arises when the detectives proceed in this case. Who is the murderer? Are these murders connected? If they are connected, how are they connected? Who is the next target for the murderer? Will detectives find and save the next target?

Apart from the case, Sergeant Stewart gains a stalker and Detective Allen was targeted twice. Is the stalker and the person targeting Allen were same? If so, why he has to target him? Or else, is there any connection between the attempt made on Allen and the murder case? While reading this book there was a lot of mysteries and questions without answers. I couldn’t stop reading when I reached the second half of the story. It kept me at the edge of my seat with curiosity to know about the killer and to the conclusion of the story which answered to all of my questions.

This book is a cliffhanger one and I love it. So, I rate this novel 4 out of 4 stars. This book was professionally written and edited. This book was really a gripping tale from the start and filled with twists and turns. There was also a budding romance in this novel. I recommend this book for those who love to read books about crimes, mystery, and thriller.
