[Following is a volunteer review of "The Lost Caravan" by Marshall Riggan.]
Marshall Riggan's novel, The Lost Caravan, presents an intriguing adventure. Paul O'Leary is haunted by ghosts from his wartime experiences. He spends his time trying to write a book about the people he lost throughout the war years. He struggles with his writing and uses alcohol to help him cope. His friends intend to go on a quest and invite Paul to join them. This new journey changes the course of his life.
Paul is persuaded to embark on this journey by the other members from his New York Explorers Club. Oleg, a former astronaut, and Cedric, a mercenary, accompany Paul on this journey. Rhonda, an actress who was a huge celebrity before marrying into the Laden family, joins them. Though this appears to be an unusual group of folks, it is certainly an intriguing read. There is so much more to it than simply searching for a treasure that has been lost in the Arab desert for centuries. Old lovers who reignite their passion for one another. Action scenes occur in the most unexpected places.
The chase sequences in this narrative will quicken your heartbeat. Then there's the lost treasure mystery. The secrets that each character reveals will surprise and shock you. The author's writing style is the next best feature of the book. The author includes additional fascinating details, such as tales from the time of war and what life is like in the desert, while still keeping the primary topic of seeking treasure. This book has no negative aspects. There are only good things about this book.
There is a lot of action, chase, friendship, love, and mystery in this fantastic tale. The author's writing is flawless. You won't get bored while reading this book at all. This book was so inspiring that it made me fall in love with travel. There were no grammatical faults in the book. The book was edited by a professional. I give this book a 5 out of 5 rating based on the previously listed factors.
I would recommend The Lost Caravan to people looking for an exciting read. I truly enjoyed and adored this book. Those who enjoy Indiana Jones and treasure hunting should read this book right away. Readers who are at least eighteen years old should read this book.
